A final day of fun to celebrate an amazing year. Thank you to all for your support this year and good luck in Grade 3!

Thursday, June 15

Day 9

Our morning began in mathematics where the completed their times-table grids. I am very impressed with the Grade 2 students and their knowledge of multiplication!

We then had P.E followed by finishing off.

We then had first recess and lunch followed by UOI. In UOI the students reflected on the year so far and opened the time capsule and identified whether they had achieved their goals.

We then had our last music lesson with Mr. Oliver, followed by library.

Our afternoon ended with second lunch and recess, followed by French and fun awards! (:

Important Information:

-Spelling Test tomorrow

- No school Friday and Monday

- Summative project sent home.

Wednesday, June 14

Day 8

Our morning began the Grade 3-6 graduation. Congratulations to all students on their hard work!

After that we had gym followed by finishing off.

We then had first lunch and recess followed UOI where the students went on their final nature walk.

After that we had second lunch and recess, followed by French, agendas and sorting.

Tuesday, June 13

Day 7

Our morning began the Grade 2 graduation. Congratulations to all students on their hard work this year!

After that the students had P.E., followed by UOI. In UOI the students appreciated nature in our own playground by making a nest using materials they found on the ground. The students were challenged to only use one hand in an effort to understand the difficulties birds face when making their nests with only their beak. (Please see Ms. Jaskolka's blog for pictures)

We then had first lunch and recess followed by music with Mr. Oliver.

After music we continued working through our spelling book.

We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and agendas.

Monday, June 12

Day 6

Today the students went on their trip to the Royal Ontario Museum. They were able to explore the museum and attended the ‘Life in Crisis’ workshop. The students were phenomenal on this trip and are an asset to the school!
