A tremendous Thursday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

For the rest of the day the students enjoyed playing with their toys and spending time together.

Key information:

-          June 22 – Last day of school – school ends at 12 noon.

-          June 22 – PYP Promotion Ceremony, 9 am.

Thank you all for your support throughout this year! I have honestly enjoyed every minute of teaching Senior Kindergarten.

A wonderful Wednesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

After that we had UOI where the students created animal masks.

We then had recess followed by IB binders. This is where the students reflected upon their work and selected pieces that they would like to store in their IB binder.

Our afternoon began with sorting followed by a surprise music class with Mrs. Demetriou.

                                              

We then had afternoon recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

-          June 21 – Toy Day – Students are invited to bring a toy from home to share with the class.

-          June 22 – Last day of school – school ends at 12 noon.

A terrific Tuesday!

We had a fantastic morning at Fiddlehead Care Farm where the students learnt about the farm animals and gardening.

Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by afternoon snack.

Our afternoon ended with UOI binders.

It has been a marvelous Monday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and sharing our weekend news with Penguin.       

    

We then had recess followed by UOI and P.E with Miss. Cranfield. In UOI the students finished their summative projects.

After that we had lunch and recess.  Then, the students sorted their work binders.

We then had afternoon recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

-          June 19 – Trip to Fiddlehead Care Farm (Booster seats, packed lunch and weather appropriate clothing and footwear needed)

-          June 20 – Plastic bag needed

A wonderful Wednesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

After that we had mathematics where the students continued subtraction using base 10 cubes.

We then had recess followed by phonics and P.E with Miss. Cranfield. We then had recess followed by phonics where the students discussed the phoneme ‘I-E’ and practiced the letter formations.

Our afternoon began with UOI where the students practiced for the Spring Concert.

The students also compared a goldfish to a goldfish cracker.

                                              

We then had afternoon recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

Key information:

-          Summer Camp due to Lynne Burke as soon as possible.

-          BBQ response forms due.

-          June 6 – Spring Concert (Food Bank donation for entry

Students are to arrive promptly at 6:40 for the Spring Concert, dressed in their costume. These will be sent home on Tuesday.

Friendly reminder, you are kindly asked to donate to the food bank as entry into the Spring Concert. The donation bin is outside of the gym door.

-          June 7 – TMA/SJA Track and field

-          June 8 – Birthday Circle for June

-          June 8 – Spelling List 9

-          June 8 – Summative presentation information due

-          June 13 – PTA Year End BBQ (3:30 pm – 5:30 pm), please return form by Wednesday, June 6.
