A fantastic Friday!
Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then
we had register followed by calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.
Next we had phonics and Show and Tell. In phonics the
students continued to explore the phoneme ‘Oo’. In Show and Tell students
brought in items from home that reminded them of our phonemes from this week.
After that we had recess followed by mathematics. In maths
the students continued to a 100 square to identify one more and one less of a
given number.
After that we had lunch and recess. Then, our afternoon
began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by a surprise presentation from
the Grade 1 and 2s. In their presentation the students shared information on ‘Operation
Christmas Child’ – see letter in agenda.
We then had Daily 5 before going for recess..
Our afternoon ended with French with Mme. Viellenueve.
