A tremendous Thursday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada and learnt about this month’s IB learner profile and attitude ‘Communicator’, ‘Respect’ and ‘Tolerance’.

We then had recess followed by phonics and Daily 5. In phonics they students continued to explore the phoneme ‘Jj’.

We then had lunch and recess.

 Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by mathematics. In mathematics the students continued their work on odd and even numbers by colouring a number line.

We then had afternoon recess followed by Music with Ms. Elliot.

Key information:

-          Report cards go home tomorrow.

-          Student-led conferences begin next week.

-          Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 13^th.

A wonderful Wednesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had mathematics where the students were introduced to odd and even numbers.

We then had recess followed by phonics where we discussed the phoneme ‘Jj’. Students then practiced their letter formation of letter ‘Jj’.

We then had lunch and recess.

Our afternoon began with Christmas Concert practice.

We then had recess followed by Art where the students created a mask for the Christmas concert.

-          Student-led conference response sent home

-          Report cards go home Friday

-          Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 13^th.

A terrific Tuesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had mathematics where the students completed their number formation booklets.

We then had recess followed by phonics where we continued to explore the phoneme ‘SSss’.

                                              

After that we had Christmas concert practice.

 Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

Our afternoon ended with recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

-          Report cards go home Friday

A fantastic Friday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had Show and Tell students brought in items from home that reminded them of our phonemes from this week.

After that we had recess followed by International Mindedness practice.

After that we had lunch and recess. Then, our afternoon began with our International Day presentation in front of the whole school! The students also watched the presentations of other classes.

Our afternoon ended with recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

-          Casual Day on Wednesday.

We then had recess followed by mathematics and UOI.

In mathematics where the students shared their data from yesterday’s survey and answered questions on the information.

In UOI the students practice for International Mindedness Day.

Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

We then had afternoon recess followed by art for International Mindedness Day.

A wonderful Wednesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

After that we had mathematics where the students went around the school and asked the survey question ‘What is your favourite part of Christmas?’

We then had recess followed by phonics where we discussed the phoneme ‘LLll’. Students then practiced their letter formation of ‘LLll’.

                                              

After that we had UOI where they practiced their International Mindedness Day presentation.

Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

We then had afternoon recess followed by music with Miss. Elliot.
