A terrific Tuesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had phonics we continued to explore the phoneme ‘SHsh’.

  

After that we had recces followed by UOI/mathematics where the students demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of ABC patterns.

We then had lunch and recess.

 Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

Our afternoon ended with recess followed by Art where the students developed their fine motor skills by practicing line formation. 

Key information:

-          Pyjama Spirit Day on Wednesday, January 17^th.

-          Please return skating form by Wednesday.

-          In-class Oral Competition on Monday, February 5^th. TMA Oral Competition on Wednesday, February 7^th.

If pre-selecting a poem for the Oral Competition, please bring a copy to school by Monday, January 22^nd. If opting for a teacher selected poem, these will be distributed on Friday, January 26^th.
