Day 3
Our morning began in mathematics where the students
continued to develop their addition skills. The children were required to use
their own strategies to find the sum of one- and two-digit numbers.
The students then had P.E. followed by reading
comprehension. The students independently completed the comprehension ‘So Many
Kinds of Food!’.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by agendas and
music with Mr. Andrei.
After that the
students focused on completing unfinished UOI, math and language work.
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by a writing
pre-assessment on recounts.

Dear SJA Families,
The Annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive is now underway at St.
Jude's Academy. We would like to welcome families to send in new
(unopened) toys and non-perishable food items to be donated to local families
in need. Food items will be donated to the Eden Food Bank, and all toys
collected will be donated to the CTV Salvation Army Toy Drive Fund.
We are also encouraging families to bring a non-perishable food
item to the Christmas Concert as your 'ticket' to the show.
