Day 1
Our morning began with Alyssa's cultural flag presentation.
In mathematics where we focused upon
adding 10 to a number several times to record the pattern.
After mathematics, the students had P.E with Mr. H followed more
mathematics. In this maths session we practiced our subtraction skills using a
written method.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by UOI. In UOI
the students were introduced the cultural holiday ‘Ramadam’. We read the story
‘Rashad’s Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr’ and discussed the story.
We then went to music with Mr. Andrei, followed by UOI. In
UOI the students were placed into groups and created freeze frames of the
story.
We then had second lunch and recess followed by French and agenda.
We were also joined by Grade 2 OJ to discuss the acting roles for the Christmas
Concert. Auditions will be held on Monday.
