Day 8
Our morning began with the JK-Grade 2 SJA Spelling Bee. Congratulations
to all who participated.
We then had sharing Spirit's journal, our new spelling words (L30) and agendas followed by
first lunch and recess.
After that we had library, mathematics and UOI. In library
the students were given the opportunity to change their reading books.
In mathematics the students were introduced to their new
unit on measure. The students were introduced to the terms ‘capacity’ and ‘mass’
which we discussed as a class.
We also had UOI where the students began to learn about
endangered and extinct animals.
After that we had
second lunch and recess, followed by French and UOI continuation.

- Spelling L30 (pg. 121-124)
- Spelling Test on Thursday
- No school Friday and Monday
- Trip response for ROM due tomorrow.
- Yoghurt pot, clip board and rain boots due Wednesday
- Unit Phone Calls this week.
