Day 5
We began our mathematics lesson by learning a new game called 'Last Man Standing'. Students were asked times table questions which they had to answer.
After we recalled yesterday’s learning on
doubles. They were then given number sentences that required you to use double
facts to find answers to near doubles.
Some students then wrote near double missing number sentences for a
partner to solve.
The students then had P.E. with Mr. H, followed by
independent reading. Whilst reading independently, the students were encouraged
to ask themselves questions about their novel.
We then had first lunch and recess, followed by music with
Mr. Andrei.
After music we continued our
presentations on our summative projects (see videos at the end of blog).
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and
agendas.
Important Information:
- Unit phone calls will begin next week.
- DRA’s have been sent home.
- Spelling test tomorrow
