Day 3
Our morning began in mathematics where the students were
introduced to their new mathematics topic ‘Time, Temperature and Money’. The
lesson began with a quick pre-assessment. We then focused on ordering pictures
to show the passing of time. Students had to explain their choice of order
using reasoning.
We then had P.E. with Mr. H, followed by journal. In journal
writing the students wrote an explanation of their superhero identity which
they created yesterday in UOI.
We then had first lunch and recess, followed by writing. In
writing the students edited their draft copy of their explanation of a banana.
They then began to write it up into best.
After that we had music with Mr. Andrei followed by UOI.
In UOI the students completed a yoga activity. They
performed yoga poses whilst concentrating on their breathing and muscle groups. See Miss Jaskolka's blog for pictures!
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and
agendas.
Important Information:
- Casual day tomorrow for all who have paid
- Photograph day on Thursday, please return slip and come to school in full dress uniform
- After school clubs form due tomorrow
- After care payment due Friday
- Trip letter sent home
- Math test sent home and needs to be returned to school signed
