Day 10
In mathematics the students were given a mathematics review
of their current topic ‘Number Relationships’. As a class we went through the
review and discussed each section. The reviews have been marked and will be
sent home for students to revise for their test on Monday.
After mathematics the students completed a reading comprehension
on ‘Apples All Around’.
We then had first recess and lunch, followed by writing. As
a class we used our ideas from our Banana bubble plan to write an explanation
of a banana. The students worked really
hard to think of an effective title and subheading, as well as ensuring their
sentences were informative.
After writing we had UOI. In UOI we had a discussion over
the four types of food groups. Students were then given a paper plate to sort
the food they ate at lunch into the different food groups.
We then had second lunch and recess followed by French and
agendas.
