Day 5
Our morning began with mathematics
where we explored the questions and answers from the math review. We discussed
misconceptions and strategies for solving problems. There will be a math test
tomorrow.
The students then had P.E., followed
by agendas and spelling where they were given their new spelling words
(Lesson 25).
We then had second lunch and recess followed by UOI. In UOI
the students finally discovered the purpose of collecting the recycleable materials.
They found out that they will be designing and creating a vehicle for the
future. They were given a scenario where humans were no longer able to live on
Earth so students have to create a vehicle that supports 2 modes of transport.
The students created 3 different designs and then chose a
final design to create.
They will begin creating their futuristic transportation tomorrow.
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and
story.
