Day 10
In mathematics the students explored measure using a metre
stick. The students had to choose objects that are longer than, shorter than,
and about 1m long. They were required to estimate and measure the length of
each object.
The students were also given a list of objects where they
had to decide whether they would use a centimeters or metres to measure.
We then had P.E followed by novel study. In novel study the
students made a prediction on what they think will happen next in the story.
We then had first recess and lunch followed by sharing and
UOI. In sharing the students continued to share their news from their Easter
break.
In UOI the students were exploring further into the mystery jacket. They
were encouraged to identify where ‘Mustafa’ was travelling from and to, and imagine
what it was like there.
Our afternoon ended with second lunch and recess, followed
by French, agendas and story.
