Day 2
Our morning began in mathematics with the students continued
their work on two-digit addition and subtraction. They were able to use any
given method to solve word problems.
The students then went to P.E. After P.E the students had
novel study where they created a character profile of themselves as a ‘borrower’.
They were required to give themselves a name, draw a portrait, describe their appearance
and describe their personality.
After first lunch and recess the students continued with
novel study and had UOI. In UOI the students identified reasons for why people immigrate
to other countries. They then sorted the reasons into ‘Environmental’, ‘Political’,
‘Social’ or ‘Economic’ factors.
We also read a story called ‘Migrant’.
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and
agendas.
