A fantastic Friday

Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’ Canada followed P.E with Miss. Cranfield.

After that the students had library. As a year group, the kindergarten students went to the library where Penguin read them a story.




We then had snack and recess, followed by calendar and Show and Tell.
In Show and Tell the students brought in items to share relating to our phonemes of the week.




Our day ended with a trip to see the Grinch!

-          Student-led conferences begin next week. Time slots sent home on Wednesday.
-          Report Cards sent home, please check agenda.
-          Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 12. Please continue to practise at home.

A tremendous Thursday!

Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’ Canada followed attendance, calendar and 100 days of school.

After that the students had art with Ms. Doucette before having a snack and recess.

We then had phonics and mathematics. In phonics, the students continued to explore the phoneme and grapheme of the letter ‘Jj’.

In mathematics the students identified odd and even numbers.



After lunch the students had P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Birthday Circle.



Our day ended with music with Ms. Bhogal and Mr. Deaken.

Key information
-          Full dress uniform tomorrow please.
-          Students will be travelling by bus to see the Grinch tomorrow. Please pick up from Orangeville Galaxy Theatre at 3:30pm.
-          Report Cards will be sent home tomorrow, please see your child’s agenda.

A wonderful Wednesday!

After that the students had mathematics where they began to discuss odd and even numbers.





We then had snack and recess followed by UOI where the students practised for their student-led conference.

After lunch the students had P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by phonics where the students began to explore the phoneme and grapheme of the letter ‘Jj’.

Our day ended with Christmas concert practice.

A terrific Tuesday!

Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’ Canada followed P.E with Miss. Cranfield.

After that the students had attendance, calendar and 100 days of school.

We then had snack and recess followed by phonics and mathematics. In phonics, the students continued to explore the phoneme and grapheme of the letter ‘SSss’.





In mathematics the students practiced their number formation for teen numbers.

After lunch the students had topic where they prepared for student-led conferences. After that they had French with Mme. Villenueve.

Our day ended with recess followed Christmas concert practice.

A marvellous Monday!

Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’ Canada followed attendance, calendar and 100 days of school.

After that the students shared their weekend news with Penguin.



We then had snack and recess, followed by phonics and UOI. In phonics the students discussed the phoneme and grapheme for ‘SSss’ and students practiced their letter formation. In UOI the students reflected upon their work for their IB binder.

After lunch the students had P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by French with Mme. Villenueve.

Our day ended with recess followed Christmas concert practice.

In Show and Tell the students brought in items to share relating to our phonemes of the week.

After that we had lunch and recess.
Then, our afternoon began with our International Day presentation in front of the whole school! The students also watched the presentations of other classes.







Our day ended with choosing.

We then had snack and recess, followed by phonics and journal writing. In phonics the students discussed the phoneme and grapheme for the letter ‘Ll’ and students practiced their letter formation.

In writing the students shared with their peers what they like to do on their birthday and wrote it in their journals.

After lunch the students had P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by UOI where they shared their International Mindedness research with each other.









Our day ended with recess followed by singing practice.

Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’ Canada followed P.E with Miss. Cranfield.

After that the students had library. As a year group, the kindergarten students went to the library where Penguin read them a story.




We then had snack and recess, followed by Show and Tell and Mathematics.
In Show and Tell the students brought in items to share relating to our phonemes of the week.




In mathematics the students completed their tally and graphed their Froot Loop activity that they began yesterday.

After lunch the students had UOI where they finished their autumn trees.




After that they had French with Mme. Villenueve.
 
Our day ended with singing practice.

Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’ Canada followed attendance, calendar and 100 days of school.

After that the students had art with Ms. Doucette before having a snack and recess.

We then had phonics and mathematics. In phonics, the students continued to explore the phoneme and grapheme of ‘FFff’.



In mathematics the students were given an individual challenge to tally a selection of Froot Loops and to graph their results.






After lunch the students had P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by UOI. In UOI the students created an autumn tree with the leaves they created yesterday.

Our day ended with music with Ms. Bhogal and Mr. Deaken.
