A tremendous Thursday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had Show and Tell where the students brought in items from home that reminded them of our phonemes from this week.

We then had recess followed by Christmas related activities.

We also had a surprise visit from Santa!

We then had lunch and recess followed by Gym with Miss. Cranfield.

We then had afternoon recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

Key information:

-          All clothes and shoes sent home.

-          Back to school January 8^th.

December 20

A wonderful Wednesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

After that we had phonics where we discussed the phoneme ‘ZZzz’. Students then practiced their letter formation of ‘ZZzz’.

We then had recess followed by Christmas related activities.

Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

We then had afternoon recess followed by music with Miss. Elliot.

Key information:

-           Thursday 21^st December - Christmas Spirit Day, Last Day of School, one plastic bag needed and students can bring in 1 toy.

-          Show and Tell tomorrow.

-          Poems guidance letter sent home.

A terrific Tuesday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had phonics where the students continued to explore the phoneme ‘Zz’.

 After that we continued with our Christmas crafts.

Then we had lunch and recess. Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

Our afternoon ended with recess followed by French with Mme. Viellenueve.

-          Thursday 21^st December - Christmas Spirit Day, Last Day of School, one plastic bag needed and students can bring in 1 toy.

A marvelous Monday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and sharing our weekend news with Penguin.  

         

We then had phonics the students practiced their letter formation of letter ‘Zz’.

After that we recess followed a Christmas craft where the students created Christmas cards.

We then had lunch and recess.

Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.

We then had afternoon recess followed by Art where the students continued with their Christmas craft and began to create an ornament.

A fantastic Friday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.

Next we had mathematics where the students continued their work on skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. 

After that we had recess followed by Show and Tell. In Show and Tell students brought in items from home that reminded them of our phonemes from this week.

After that we had the PTA Christmas Lunch and recess.

Then, our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by UOI. In UOI the students demonstrated their prior knowledge of our unit ‘Patterns, Patterns Everywhere’ by creating their own pattern and sharing it.

Our afternoon ended with French with Mme. Viellenueve.
