Day 10
Our morning began with mathematics where the students
recapped times-tables of their choosing with the hoop.
After that they completed their review for our current topic
‘Data Management and Probability’. The test will take place tomorrow.
We then had P.E, followed by a reading comprehension on ‘Friendly
Faces’ which explores members of our community.
After that we had first recess and lunch, followed by
Language and UOI. In language we recapped our previous learning on ‘how to
write a letter’ and explored types of connectives.
We then began drafting a letter to our friend Fatima who is
thinking of coming to Canada.
In UOI we were joined by Grade 2 OJ where we explored the
concept of a good citizen. We watched two videos and discussed the messages in
each.
We then had second lunch and recess followed by French and
agendas.

A message about PD Day Camp on February 17:

Parents & Guardians,
Due to
the overwhelming inquiry, PD Day Camp will be offered Friday, February
17, 2017.
Please
see attached flyer and registration form. Note that registration is on
a "first-come-first-serve" basis. (A Minimum number of
students is required to run the camp)
All
completed forms and payments MUST be received by Wednesday, February 8, 2017
9:00 am.
