Day 8
Our morning with a wonderful ‘Welcome Back’ from the
students! – Thank you!
We then had mathematics where we made 3D shapes using the
nets we have been working on.
After that we had gym with Mr. H followed by literacy. In literacy
we proof read our recount work from yesterday and made edits to improve our
writing.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by library and
UOI. In library the students were given the opportunity to change their reading
books.
In UOI the students identified
the difference between wants and needs. In groups they sorted items into a
‘wants’ and ‘needs’ piles, then individually added their own wants and needs.
After that we had second lunch and recess, followed by
French, agendas and Valentine’s Day related activities.
Important Information:
- Grade 2 Poem competition will take place on Thursday.
Please continue to support your child by helping them to memories their poem.
- Candy Sale tomorrow
- Movie Night, February 24. Please return form if interested.
- An additional Casual Day will take place on Feb 24th.
If you are interested, please dress as a judge, lawyer or criminal on this day,
and bring in $2 at your earliest convenience.

SJA is excited to
announce that our lunch ordering system has now been upgraded!
Beginning today you will
place all lunch orders on-line. The ordering system is more simplified and easy
to navigate.
Below are the
instructions on how to order and how to pay:

Click on the link. Don't have
an account? Register and register your child based on your email address,
their grade, and classroom teacher name. (you can register more than one child)

Verify your email
account through the email sent
4.
Log-in and look for the
tab manage lunch on the top left of the page
5.
Select add new lunch
form
6.
Select student name and
payment method
7.
Check off the boxes for
your selections for each day
8.
Press save
9.
The program will then
take you to a screen that will give you the total you owe for the month
10. Please place amount owing (in agenda) in a zip lock bag
clearly labeled with student first and last name as well as teacher name.
