Day 3
Our morning began with mathematics where the students continued
their work on transformations (Rotation – Turn, Refection – Flip, Translation –
Slide). The students were also given their math review for their upcoming
geometry test on Thursday. Please continue to work with your child on the
review and return on Wednesday.
The students then had P.E., followed by agendas
and spelling where they were given their new spelling words (Lesson 29).
We then had first lunch and recess followed by UOI. In UOI
the students were introduced to their adopted Kermode Bear. Thank you to all
who have donated to this wonderful cause! The students named our Kermode Bear ‘ Spirit
Legend’ and will be given the opportunity to take him home in the coming weeks.
After music with Mr. Oliver, our afternoon continued with Literacy
where the students completed their persuasive advertisement of a donut.
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and story.
Important Information:
- Math review sent home, please return on Wednesday.
- Trip tomorrow, please send your child with a disposable
lunch to school. Please also arrive to school promptly.
