A marvelous Monday!
Our morning began with assembly
where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather
and sharing our weekend news with Penguin.
Next we began our new unit on ‘Data Management’. Students
worked collaboratively as a class to sort objects into two hoops. They
discovered that they could sort by colour, size and patterns.
We then had recess followed by phonics where we discussed
the phoneme ‘CKck’. Students then practiced their letter formation of letter
‘CKck’.
We then had UOI where we learnt about their ‘Amazing Bodies’
summative assessment. Students will be taking the week to decide on which
healthy food, unhealthy food and activity they would like to us for their project.
They will need to bring their materials with them to school on Monday, October
30th. (For more information please see letter in agenda).
After that we had lunch and recess. Then, our afternoon
began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by Daily 5.
Our afternoon ended with recess followed by French with Mme.
Viellenueve.
