Day 2
Our morning began in mathematics with the students tried to improve
their class time of 5minutes and 44 seconds for our ‘Follow Me Cards’ game. The
students beat their time by 1 second!
We then looked at using our knuckled to recognize how many
days there are in each month.
After that we read days and weeks on a calendar. The
students were then required to complete different calendars to show the days of
the week and the dates in the month. They also had to interpret the dates given
ordinal clues.
The students then went to P.E. with Mr. H. After P.E the
students had spellings where they were give their new spelling words (Lesson 9)
and began to complete the activities in their spelling text book.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by UOI. In UOI
the students were given the opportunity to work on their summative projects.
The students were reminded that we only have one more day to complete our
summative projects before presenting on Wednesday and Thursday.
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and
agendas.
During agendas we also watch our first project presentation.

- Summative projects presentations begin Wednesday.
- Spelling Test is on Thursday, November 10
- Christmas Basket due next Tuesday
- Holiday Fundraising due Friday November 18, cash preferred
- No school Friday
