Day 5
Our morning began with our
spelling test followed by a World War Memorabilia assembly. In the assembly, students
listened carefully to a guest speaker who discussed what life was like during
the World Wars. The students were then invited to explore the artifacts and try
on clothing.
The students then had P.E. with Mr. H,
followed by project presentations.
Our projects also continued after first lunch and recess
(see photographs and videos below).

- Message from MYP:
Dear Parents and
Guardians,
This is a gentle
reminder to inform you that St. Jude's Academy upper school
students are currently organizing a winter clothing drive for 50
Syrian Refugee Families. We are thankful for all the donations but we hope that
you are still able to participate by bringing in new or gently used winter clothes.
The students are mostly looking for coats, snow pants, mittens,
leggings, and hats but anything would be appreciated. The age range of the
children of the Syrian families are from 2 years old to 18 years old. The drive
will be running until November 18, 2016. We will be collecting all items
at the end of every school day and students will be awarded house points for
each article of clothing!
Thank you in advance for
your continued support.
Sincerely,
MYP StudentsHave a fantastic long weekend everyone!
