Day 3
Our morning began in mathematics with the students tried to
improve their class time of 4minutes and 52 seconds for our ‘Follow Me Cards’
game. The students beat their time by 38 seconds!
We then began to recap our learning of this unit and began
their review. Students were required to recall times to the quarter-hour on a
digital and analog clock. Children were also required to show relative
temperatures on thermometers.
The students then had
P.E. with Mr. H followed by Science Fair practice. Grade 2EB were joined by
Grade 2OJ and both classes presented their project and provided feedback to one
another.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by our Science
Fair presentation to the judge.
We did so well in our presentation that we were even able to spend the 10 minutes before music playing a game!
After that, the students then had music with Mr. Andrei
followed by art. In art the students practiced their outline and shading skills
by ‘drawing what they could see’. They all sat in a circle and were required to
sketch a tissue box. This practice was in preparation for an upcoming fine art
project regarding a cultural artifact (letter sent home today).
We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and
agendas.
