Day 8
Our morning began in mathematics where we began to look at
time. Students were given a paper plate and a split pins to make their own
clock.
After mathematics we had gym with Mr. H. followed by
journal. In journal the students wrote a paragraph about their favourite food.
Students were encouraged to use interesting adjectives to describe.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by library. In
the library the students were given the opportunity to change their reading
book.
Then we had literacy where the students began to write their
first draft of their explanation of their toy. Students were given the
opportunity to proof read their work with Miss Baimas. Later this week the students
will write their work up into best.
We then had UOI where we discussed healthy habits. Students began
to create posters to inform others of how to keep healthy. The posters included
‘Healthy Eating’, ‘Exercise your Body’, ‘Sleep’, ‘Wash Your Hands’, ‘Brush Your
Teeth’, ‘Visit the Dentist and Doctor’, ‘Wear your Seat Belt’ and ‘Exercise
your mind’.
We then had second lunch and recess followed by French and
agendas.

- Art forms due November 3
- Guy Fawkes poem sent home. If students can recite this by
heart on Friday then they will receive house points.
- Deadline for Trip response was yesterday.
