Day 4

Today in mathematics the students made their own thermometer and used it to show a given temperature. For each temperature given, the students noted whether there was a rise or fall in temperature.

Then, students were required to read a thermometer and record the temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).

After mathematics the students had P.E. with Mr. H, followed by novel study. In novel study we read chapter 21 of Charlotte’s Web and answered the following question: Who would you want to be in the story and why?
We then had first lunch and recess, followed by literacy. In literacy the students invented their own super robot and were required to write an explanation. Within their writing students wrote about what their robot does and how it works.

After literacy we then began presenting our UOI summative projects where the students gave a verbal presentation to the class about their work.

We then had second lunch and recess, followed by French and an assembly on Remembrance Day.
