A tremendous Thursday!
Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada and
learnt about this month’s IB learner profile and attitude ‘Caring’ and ‘Empathy’,
followed by a house game.
Then we had register followed by the calendar, the weather and 100 days of school.
After that we had recess followed by phonics and UOI. In phonics the students used their knowledge of the phoneme ‘OIoi’ to complete activities.
In UOI the students began presenting their summative projects.
Our afternoon began with P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by mathematics where the students explored the loonie and the toonie.
We then had afternoon recess followed by art where the students learnt about the artist ‘Wassily Kandinsky’ and learnt about primary and secondary colours.
