A marvellous Monday!
Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’
Canada followed by our trip to Downy’s Farm!
The students had a great time learning about the main
ingredients in food, such as fries from potatoes and ketchup from tomatoes.
They also enjoyed a wagon ride and could pet the animals.
When we returned the students had lunch followed by phonics. In phonics
the students discussed the phoneme and grapheme for the letter ‘Dd’ and
students practiced their letter formation.
Our day ended with recess followed by story time.
