A marvellous Monday!
Our morning began with assembly where the students sang O’
Canada followed attendance, calendar and 100 days of school.
After that the students shared their weekend news with
Penguin.
We then had snack and recess, followed by phonics and
journal writing. In phonics the students discussed the phoneme and grapheme for
the letter ‘Cc’ and students practiced their letter formation.
In journal writing the students discussed features of a list and
began writing a list of dairy products.
After lunch the students had P.E with Miss. Cranfield followed by
UOI where they completed an activity on how fruit plants grow.
Our day ended with recess followed by choosing.

October 16 for viewing the book fair, and October 17 for purchasing. You can
also visit the book fair after school.

Summative
letter send home. Any resources your child wishes to bring are due Monday,
October 22nd.

Reading letter
sent home with your child’s reading day. Books will sent home on this day and
must return the following week so that new books can be issued.
