Day 2
Our morning began in mathematics where the students were
given an open ended problem where they could write as many facts as they could
think of about a given number. Information could be given in different forms
(eg. numerals, pictures). The students worked in groups and were each given a
different number. The groups then
presented their information to the class.
Individually the students then had to write 3 addition and 3
subtraction sentences for the number 18.
After mathematics the students had P.E. with Mr. H, followed
by their spelling test.
We then had first lunch and recess followed by UOI. In UOI
the students were given the opportunity to work on their summative projects. The
students were reminded that we only have one more day to complete our summative
projects before presenting next Wednesday.
We then wrote our agendas before going to second lunch and
recess.
Our day ended with French with Mlls. Jessica, followed by
circle time. In circle time the students continued with last week’s discussion
on action. We also briefly spoke about our Thanksgiving plans and what the
students are thankful for.
Important Information:
- We must wear our winter uniform as of Tuesday
- Students who take their summative projects to work on at home must return them on Tuesday.
- Summative projects presentations begin Wednesday.
