June 4

It has been a marvelous Monday!

Our morning began with assembly where we sang O’ Canada. Then we had register followed by calendar, the weather and sharing our weekend news with Penguin.           

We then had recess followed by phonics and P.E with Miss. Cranfield. In phonics we discussed the phoneme ‘E-E’ and practiced the letter formations.

After that we had lunch and recess.  Then, the students practiced for the Spring Comcert.

Key information:

-          Summer Camp and re-registration due to Lynne Burke as soon as possible.

-          June 4 – Spring Costume due

-          June 6 – Spring Concert (Food Bank donation for entry

Students are to arrive promptly at 6:40 for the Spring Concert, dressed in their costume. These will be sent home on Tuesday.

Friendly reminder, you are kindly asked to donate to the food bank as entry into the Spring Concert. The donation bin is outside of the gym door.

-          Mrs. Orphanides will be absent from school as of June 7^th and will return on June 18^th.  Miss. Paulina and Mrs. Whitworth will assist Miss. Bhogal to continue the Kindergarten programme. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

-          June 7 – TMA/SJA Track and field

-          June 8 – Birthday Circle for June

-          June 8 – Spelling List 9

-          June 13 – PTA Year End BBQ (3:30 pm – 5:30 pm)
